DTG were proud to be a part of the recent Digitalisation & Cyber Security Conference hosted in Durham by the North East of England Process Industry Cluster (NEPIC).
The not-for-profit organisation supports the needs and interests of the sector in the North East and this years conference was designed to delve into the region’s thriving processing sector, provide insight into the challenges that a connected digital world presents, and identify opportunities for businesses seeking to diversify, support and grow in this booming area.

Some though are understandably extremely worried about the increased cyber security risk as they open up access to their shop floor or Operational Technology (OT) systems. This though, should not be a reason to shy away from this new technology. By simply developing and executing a cyber security strategy, in line with their digital strategy, they can mitigate the cyber risks that, if not managed correctly, can so catastrophically impact their business.”
